TABOU Manta Team 2017
For 2017 Fabien Vollenweider worked through countless prototypes with one of the best slalom teams on the PWA including top racer Ross Williams and Cedric Bordes chief of R&D to develop an even higher performance race winning Manta range.
The conditions on the Professional Windsurfing Tour are getting more and more diverse each season and it was critical for Tabou's team have a quiver of boards that works in all types of wind and water conditions around the world. The Manta range is already famous for its control and top end performance in even the toughest conditions but the 2017 range is set to take you to the very top of the podium race after race.
With the success of the 2017 range Tabou have decided to keep the winning shapes of the smaller sizes for the new year. The Manta 71 and 85 however have been completely redeveloped for the new season. Changes to the outlines, rocker lines and bottom contours of both boards result in a more direct feeling board with huge improvements in bottom end power. The new tail and cut out designs ensure earlier release and even better top end control and better still all this have been achieved without losing any of the critical top end control.
The 2017 Manta 85 and 81 will also come with an all new high strength fin box construction to withstand the added stress of a foil windsurfing.
All of which result in a more complete racing line-up than ever before. It doesn´t matter if it´s 8 knots on a foil or the storm of the year the 2017 Manta Range has you covered.

Manta 85 : 233 x 85 x 135 liter -9,5 to 8,6 for a pro use
(and you can put 10 to 7,9 depending on your weight) with 48 to 44/42 cm fins
Manta 81 : 233 x 81 x 129 liter -9,5 to 8,6 for a pro use
(and you can put 7,9 for light wind if you are under 80 kilos) with 46 to 42/40 cm fins
Manta 71 : 233 x 71 x 116 liter -8,6 to 7,1 with 42 to 36 cm fins
Manta 66 : 233 x 66 x 106 liter -7,9 to 6,4 with 40 to 34 cm fins
Manta 61 : 240 x 61 x 98 liter -7,1 to 5,6 with 34 to 30 cm fins
Manta 59 : 240 x 59 x 88 liter -7,1 to 5,0 with 33 to 29 cm fins
